AX scoops two prestigious industry awards for its modular incident management service Motor Assist

Written by Scott Hamilton-Cooper

Motor Assist, the highly adaptable, modular incident management service from AX, picked up two major industry awards last week.

Proving to be a game-changer for insurers, brokers and fleet operators, Motor Assist took home the Accident Management Company of the Year accolade at the Modern Claims Awards and the Innovation in Electric Vehicles honour at the Great British Fleet Awards.

Launched in 2022, Motor Assist was designed to provide a breath of fresh air into a sector that was in need of change. Offering a modular approach or a full end-to-end service, Motor Assist offers greater visibility, agility and outstanding efficiency through a combination of powerful technology and 20 years of experience.

The recognition arrives after a 12-month period in which Motor Assist has successfully onboarded over 100 fleet operators both directly and through a growing number of partnerships including TCH Leasing, Pure Leasing and Day’s Fleet.

Last year also saw Motor Assist integrate a market-leading EV-for-EV guarantee which ensures that electric vehicle drivers do not have to compromise when it comes to replacement vehicles.

The incident management service brings a streamlined onboarding process and delivers outstanding efficiency through its API-enabled data transfer, while its comprehensive suite of solutions enables fleets and insurers to choose between the full service offering or a bespoke modular approach.

Scott Hamilton-Cooper, Chief Commercial Officer at AX said: “Motor Assist from AX offers something unique to the sector and it is extremely pleasing to add two significant accolades from these respected organisations.

"The automotive industry is undergoing huge changes and the vehicles we drive and technology we use is evolving rapidly. Our unique and seamlessly integrated accident management and mobility solutions are designed to bring something different to the market and, following a string of new business wins and industry recognition, we are pleased to be delivering on our promise."

With the backing of AX, Motor Assist has made a significant investment in its technology, utilising a cutting-edge platform to ensure the customer journey is optimised. The API-ready platform is highly configurable and is accessible to all stakeholders to significantly increase visibility.

Technology is also supporting interactions with drivers. In keeping with its innovative approach, AX and Motor Assist recently introduced a Customer App which has been downloaded by around 15,000 users already.
